Rome, Italy - November 2019 - On November 13, the Salesian Pontifical University (UPS) organized the meeting "For 80 years in the service of education. The UPS meets the territory", an evening-event attended by the President of Municipality III, Giovanni Caudo, and the Councilors, business firms, associations and representatives of the district's different sectors. After the initial greetings of the UPS Rector, prof. Fr Mauro Mantovani, the history of the Nuovo Salario district in which the University arises, was narrated by the Emeritus Rector, prof. Fr Carlo Nanni, with the support of previously unpublished videos and photos. Dr. Francesco Langella, who actively collaborates in the external relations of the UPS, was entrusted with the presentation of the services the Salesian University makes available to the territory, such as the "Don Bosco" Library, with its 600,000 books and special funds, and the Psycho-pedagogical Center that collaborates with the "Sales Psicologia" cooperative.
