South Africa - Young people of SYM reflect on Salesian Mission Day
Johannesburg, South Africa - October 2019 - On 20 October, the young people of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) in Johannesburg gathered in the Salesian parish of Ennerdale to reflect on Salesian Mission Day. Through watching a video on the work of Salesians in refugee camps in Africa, young people reflected on the questions: "What does hospitality mean to me? How do I look at those who are "different", "foreign" and "migrant"? How can I make others feel welcome? And how can we young people assist the Salesian Mission?"
