Bujumbura, Burundi - 6 October 2019 - The faithful of the parish of St. John Paul II of Buterere-Bujumbura, together with the faithful of the shrine "Monte Sion" of Gikungu-Bujumbura and members of the Salesian Family, gathered together to make a pilgrimage to the sanctuary of "Mary Help of Christians" in Buterere. The event underlines the importance that the faithful attribute to this Marian educational center, whose construction has not yet been completed, but which is destined to become the center of devotion to Mary Help of Christians in the Great Lakes region of Africa.
