Argentina - Award to Salesian Agricultural Schools
Buenos Aires, Argentina - August 2019 - On August 22nd, the National Academy of Veterinary and Agronomy Studies of Argentina awarded a prize to the Salesian Agricultural Schools of Argentina (EAS) for their educational line and for collaboration in social promotion and in the productive sector. The event was attended by the President of the Academy, dr. Luciano Miguens, who explained the meaning of the award, and dr. García Tobar, member of the jury that analyzes the candidates for the award, who explained the reasons for the election of the EAS. After the awards ceremony, Fr Roberto Camusso, SDB, and Juan José Mirás, made an audiovisual presentation of the various EAS and of several Salesians who distinguished themselves in that educational sector. The event was also attended by representatives of the schools of Uribelarrea and Del Valle and the Provincial Vicar of Southern Argentina, Fr Vicente Tirabasso.
