Poland - Salesian Formation Meeting for Salesians Brothers
Oświęcim, Poland - June 2019 - From 11 to 14 June, at the Salesian Institute of Oświęcim, a formation meeting was held for Salesian Brothers from all four Salesian provinces in Poland. The event was coordinated by Br Sebastian Wiśniewski, Salesian coadjutor of the host center, with 14 participants. The program included a number of interventions on the news that emerged at the European Seminar for Salesian Brothers (January 2019), with the translation of the conference by Fr Pascual Chávez entitled "The profile of the Salesian brother", edited by Br Wiśniewski; in addition to the reports "Being Salesian today in the light of the Strenna of the Rector Major", edited by Fr Dariusz Bartocha, director of Oświęcim; and "The challenges and dangers for today's Salesian", curated by Fr Adam Parszywka, PLS Provincial. The appointment, in addition to pursuing its educational objective, also included fraternal meetings and cultural-religious itineraries.
