Poland - Zabrze and Skawa celebrate St Cecilia
Zabrze-Skawa, Poland - November 2018 - The Salesian Schools of Zabrze and Skawa, in the province of Krakow (PLS), celebrated Saint Cecilia, through singing and music concerts. In Zabrze the concert took place on November 21st. All the school's best students performed, as did several parents, and the Choir "Cantores Don Bosco". On Sunday, November 25, St Cecilia was celebrated in the Salesian parish of Skawa. The concert was a common effort of several local musicians. Performing were: the musical band from Tokarnia, the "Sta Allegro" chorus, a string quartet, a violin duo, a bagpipe player from Rdzawka, an oratorian group as well as organ music.
