Hong Kong - Activities for young migrants
Hong Kong, China - June 2018 - On June 13, the "Don Bosco South Asia Youth Services" (DBSAYS) in Hong Kong brought together the Catholic community in the "San Luigi" chapel to celebrate the feast of Saint Anthony along with the families of migrants from India, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr Dolphie Sequeira, followed by a luncheon. The "DBSAYS" of Hong Kong was established in 2013 to help young immigrants from South Asia through numerous activities: animation, initiatives in youth centers, seminars, school camps, mathematics, lesson in Cantonese , English and Tamil languages, assistance for street children, swimming lessons, handicrafts and Chinese painting.
