Russia - Christmas celebrations in Salesian communities of Yakutsk and Aldan
Yakutsk, Russia - December 2017 - The Salesian community of Yakutsk celebrated Christmas with a solemn mass on the evening of December 24, followed by a meeting with Catholics and people from other religious confessions. On December 25, the Salesian community, with the young men of the oratory and collaborators, visited a care center for the elderly to animate Christmas for its roughly 300 guests and have lunch with them. In the evening there was a Christmas concert and traditional Yakutsk songs sung at the Salesian parish. In Aldan, the Salesians celebrated Christmas by hosting five young people from the nearby orphanage.
