India - South Asian Social Experience Dimension Coordinators meet
Tiruchy, India - October 2017 - The annual meeting of all the Coordinators of Social Experience Dimension was held at the Provincial House in Tiruchy (INT) on 26 and 27 October, 2017. There were 12 participants from all the Provinces of India for this meeting. The Keynote Address - 'Sociological and Psychological Implications of Social Experience in the Education of Youth' - was delivered by Dr. Devanesan, Principal of Annai Vailankanni College and a member of the Commission for Higher Education. There were sessions on 'Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) - India: History, Presence of SYM in the Provinces, Regional Formation Programs & the Way Forward'; 'Understanding the roles and duties and assuming responsibilities as a coordinator'; 'Oratories & Youth Centers: Spirit of the Oratories, Consolidating the Oratories and New Forms of Oratories.' It was a gathering of sharing ideas, discussions and interactions. This two-day program was coordinated by Fr Robert Simon, Coordinator for Groups and Movements.
