Rwanda - Commission for the family of the parish of Rango on a visit to the parish of Higiro
Rango, Rwanda - 13 November 2016 - The Commission for the Family of the Salesian parish of Rango in the Africa Great Lakes Vice-Province (AGL), visited the parish of Higiro to encourage the faithful to form a commission for the family. The commission of the Salesian parish of Rango was chosen by the diocesan office for the pastoral care of families as the team for the spread and consolidation of family ministry in the deanery of Butare. During the meeting Fr Eric Twizigiyimana, who is in charge of family ministry in the diocese of Butare, led the reflection on the theme of the Christian family in the Church today. He invited the participants to form model families needed in the world today and urged them to fight habits that weaken marriage and can lead to divorce and cause emotional wounds in married life.
