Hospet, India – April 2024 – On 27-28 April Don Bosco Hospet hosted a large and well-attended youth meeting, held under the guidance of Fr Kaplikunnel O. Varghese, Delegate for Youth Ministry in the Province of Bangalore, India, in collaboration with Fr Uday Kumar, Regional Director of Youth Activities for the Karnataka area, and five other Area Directors. The theme chosen for the event was: "Samanvaya: Young people towards holistic growth". The meeting aimed to promote an environment conducive to the overall development of young people and brought together almost 250 participants from all over Karnataka. The event was also enriched by the presence, among others, of Bishop Henry D’Souza, Bishop of Bellary, and Fr Jose Thomas Koyickal, Superior of the Sacred Heart Province of Bangalore (INK), who addressed the young people by imparting words of wisdom and encouragement.
