Nigeria - Provincial Chapter in ANN
The Africa Nigeria Niger (ANN) Province is currently hosting its second Provincial Chapter in Iju, Lagos. The chapter began with organizational procedures and the selection of key personnel. The ANN provincial, Rev. Fr. Jorge Crisafulli, presented a comprehensive report on the province, focusing on its strengths, challenges, and key areas such as Salesian Identity, community life, mission, sustainability, vocation, and care for vulnerable children. The opening Mass was led by Archbishop Alfred Adewale Martins, who commended the Salesians for their dedication and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the archdiocese and the Salesians. Fr. Jorge expressed gratitude to the Archbishop for his support. The day concluded with commission reflections and the presentation of synthesized insights to the general assembly.
