Philippines – The Salesian Philippines South Province hosts an important Natioanl Conference on Curriculum Studies
Lawaan, Philippines – November 2023 – The Salesian Province of the Southern Philippines (FIS) and the Don Bosco Technical Institute in Cebu hosted this year’s National Conference on Curriculum Studies, promoted by the Curriculum Studies Association of the Philippines (CSAPI). The event was held on 25 and 26 November at the Don Bosco Retreat House in Lawaan. The conference brought together a total of 178 educators and school administrators (61 in attendance and 117 online) from different regions of the country. A number of local and international speakers shared their experiences on various topics related to curriculum studies. Also present for the occasion was FIS Provincial Fr Fidel Orendain, who emphasised that perfecting curricular studies is fundamental, but transforming the aspirations of young people into reality is even more so.
