Dindigul, India - September 2023 - A meeting of Salesians in their quinquennium for the Provinces of Chennai and Tiruchy took place from 7-8 September at the Life Centre inDindigul,  The Salesians in their first and second year of priesthood gathered for two days of animation and reflection, under the guidance of Fr John Alexander, Vice-Provincial of the Salesian Province of Chennai (INM), Fr Agilan Sarprasadam, Superior of the Salesian Province of Tiruchy (INT), Fr Xavier Michael, Vice-Province of the INT Province and Fr Rudolf, a Claretian priest. Many topics were addressed during the meeting and many questions were asked of the participants. There were questions about what are the joyful and challenging experiences in Salesian and priestly life, how young people can improve the religious life and mission of the Province, and what should be the priority areas on which the Province should focus in the next five years. Significant discussions took place, resulting in many valuable insights. The participating Salesians drew collective wisdom and renewed vigour from this two-day meeting to continue the Salesian mission in their respective communities.
