Irinjalakuda, India – July 2023 – About 250 school leaders from seven Salesian schools in the state of Kerala participated in a seminar, held on 22 July at the Don Bosco schools in Irinjalakuda. Dr. P Sariin, IAAS, with Frn Santhosh Manikombel, SDB, Principal of the Salesian Upper Secondary School in Irinjalakuda, Fr Manu Peedikayil, SDB, Principal of the Don Bosco Central School in Irinjalakuda, and other authorities, inaugurated the meeting. In his opening speech, Fr Babu Manissery, PrincipalL of the Don Bosco Upper Secondary School in Mannuthy, Thrissur, and Coordinator of the Salesian schools for the Province of India-Bangalore (INK), congratulated the Salesians, the staff of the Salesian schools in Irinjalakuda and in particular Fr Peedikayil, the main organiser of the program. He then invited the school leaders to gather information from all sides to become true leaders, and suggested that they proceed with determination, resourcefulness and naturalness in their path of individual and community transformation. Mr. Anil Kurisingal and his team then led the formation sessions.
