Cuba - Promise of five new Salesian Cooperators in Santa Clara
Santa Clara, Cuba - May 2023 - In the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Santa Clara, the promise of five new Salesian Cooperators belonging to the local "Father Vandor" Center was celebrated on May 24, feast of Mary Help of Christians. The celebration was presided over by Fr. Miguel Ángel Fernández, SDB, Delegate of the Local Center, and the promises were received by Ania Rabelo, National Coordinator of Salesian Cooperators (SSCC). Two of the newly-associated, at 20 and 22 years of age, are the youngest Salesian Cooperators in Cuba and the Antilles Province. At the celebration were relatives, friends, young people from the Salesian Youth Movement, SSCC, and members of the Salesian Family groups in Santa Clara.
