Hanoi, Vietnam - May 2023 - Last May 3-5, the Salesians of the North Vietnam Delegation met to evaluate the three-year plan and to establish lines of action for the near future. Also present at the meeting was the Salesian Provincial of Vietnam, Fr. Barnabas Le An Phong, along with other members of the Provincial Council. After the opening Mass, celebrated by the Provincial, the Salesians from North Vietnam fraternally shared their reflections and experiences. The Delegation's issues, challenges and directions for the future were commented on with sincerity and frankness. Those present agreed that the central points remain the example of Don Bosco, missionary focus and service to young people, especially the poorest and the abandoned.
