Myanmar - "Short Training Course for Provincial Planning & Development Office”
Anisakan, Myanmar - March 25, 2023 - A three-day training course for PDO was conducted by Fr. M.C George, SDB, from 23 to 25 March 2023, in Don Bosco Provincialate, Anisakan, Myanmar. Among 21 participants, the majority being rectors and economers of the houses in the vice-province. The main intention of the course is to help the vice-province to find ideas, possibilities, and ways to develop itself to be self-sustainable and independent in the near future. During these three days, we learned many things about attitude forming, sustainability projects, and fund-raising principles which are down-to-earth and easy to put into practice. At the end of the course, each participant's eyes were opened and convinced that to save, to earn, and to beg are essential elements in order to be self-sustainable communities. Finally, we do believe that this very course will surely make a big impact in the vice-province.
