India - Salesian Coadjutors animated on their identity in the Church and the world
Guwahati, India - December 2022 - Br. Joby Mani, SDB, Delegate for Salesian Coadjutors of the South Asia Region, animated the Salesian Coadjutors of the Guwahati Province on the identity of coadjutors in the Church and in the world. The meeting, which was attended by 11 Salesian Coadjutors from Guwahati, was held last Dec. 3 at the "Bosco Mount" Aspirantate in Tura. Fr. Januarius S. Sangma, Superior of the Guwahati Province (ING), greeted those present and reminded them of the commitment in favor of young people, especially the poorest and most abandoned, to which they are called. During the Eucharist, Fr. Sangma also based his sermon on the life of faith and sacrifice of St. Artemide Zatti for the sake of others. Br. Mani also spoke on the canonization of Artemide Zatti, describing his trip to Italy in October and highlighting the identity of the Salesian Coadjutor in the Church and in the world. Also present at the meeting was ING Provincial Vicar Fr. Joseph Teron, who urged Salesian Coadjutors to participate in vocation camps in order to inspire young people. The day ended with a musical performance, prepared by the participants, as a thank you.
