Amsterdam, Holland - October 2022 - On October 22, the Salesians of the Belgium North and Holland (BEN) Province met at the "St. Francis de Sales" community in Amsterdam to celebrate a moment of Salesian fellowship and fraternity. The meeting began with a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr. Wilfried Wambeke, BEN Provincial, who in his homily extended an invitation to pray for one another, especially for the Salesians who could not be present, as well as for the faithful entrusted to the care of the Salesians and the youth. He also offered an image of St. Artemide Zatti as an encouragement for everyone to live a life of prayer, service, and faithful commitment to the poorest. Then, quoting St. Francis de Sales, he concluded, "Holiness is not reserved for special people with special functions, but is attainable by anyone who feels called to a life of service to God through service to people."
