Montbrison, France - June 2022 - On the last weekend of June, the "Jean-Baptiste d'Allard" secondary school, a member of the Don Bosco Schools Network, hosted the first edition of a major sports event called "Bosc'Olympiques." Ten teams from various Salesian houses in France and Belgium competed in various sports: basketball, football, swimming, and athletics. For the occasion, the Montbrison municipal swimming pool was closed to the public to allow swimming and other water games to take place. Fr. Xavier Ernst, Delegate for Youth Ministry of the Salesian Province of France and Southern Belgium (FRB), emphasized the spirit in which the games were held: "The important thing, of course, is to participate."
