India - Don Bosco Vazhikaatti Organizes Job Fair for Socially Marginalized Youth
Madurai, India – June 2022 - Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Trichy, and Don Bosco Job Placement Network India, in association with Madurai Legal Awareness Coordination Committee (MLACC), organized a job fair for the youth belonging to marginalized communities in Madurai on June 26, 2022. Eight recruiters and 110 job seekers participated, and more than 90 issued job placement letters. Recruiters from sectors of IT/ITES, Banking, Automobile, Electronics and Steel manufacturing participated in the Job Fair. Around 110 job seekers attended, and more than 90 received joining letters. Most of the candidates were from socially backward communities, especially the children of conservancy workers. Advocate Father Sahaya Philomin Raj, Director, Madurai Legal Awareness Coordination Committee, motivated the job seekers, and the HR Managers gave them the job descriptions and the required skill set for the jobs. Father Arul Antony, Director, Don Bosco Vazhikaatti, Trichy, and his team Mr Arumairaj and Mr Raja; Mr Muthukumar, Coordinator, Madurai Legal Awareness Coordination Committee (MLACC) and his team Ms Umadevi, Mr Sasikumar, Ms Madhipriyanka were present.
