Italy - Bishop Roberto Repole presides over diaconal ordinations of nine Salesians, in presence of Rector Major and General Council members
Turin, Italy - June 2022 - On Saturday, June 11, at the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Valdocco, the diaconal ordination of nine Salesians who completed the third year of theological studies at the Turin section of the Faculty of Theology of UPS was celebrated. The ordaining bishop, Msgr. Roberto Repole, new Archbishop of Turin and distinguished alumnus of the Turin-Valdocco Gymnasium, celebrated with joy and sincere participation in the Basilica for the first time in his ministry. The extraordinary presence of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, 10th Successor of Don Bosco, and some members of the General Council, happily joined the Superior of the Special Circumscription Piedmont and Aosta Valley (ICP), Fr. Leonardo Mancini, and the Rector of the International Institute "Don Bosco" of Turin-Crocetta, Fr. Marek Chrzan, in the solemn concelebration, together with all the various Salesians from various entities of Italy, Europe and across the globe.
