Papua New Guinea - The Superior of PGS Vice Province presides over Mass of the Holy Spirit
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea - Last Friday, February 25, the "Don Bosco" Technical School (DBTS) of Gabutu, near Port Moresby, celebrated, with the Holy Spirit Mass, the solemn opening of the school year and the award ceremony of the students who distinguished themselves in 2021. Fr Gregorio Bicomong, Superior of the Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands Vice Province (PGS), presided over the Eucharist, concelebrated by Fr Pedro Sachitula, Rector of the work, and Fr Ambrose Pereira, spiritual moderator. During his homily, Fr Bicomong, taking Saints Luigi Versiglia and Callisto Caravario as models of commitment to protect life, dignity and faith, urged those present to pray for peace in the world, especially in Ukraine.
