DR Congo - Sensitization session for teachers of the "Don Bosco Ngangi" Institute on the Preventive System
Goma, DR Congo - January 2022 - On Saturday, January 8, twenty-one teachers from the Salesian Institute "Don Bosco Ngangi", in Goma, gathered to participate in a training course focused on Don Bosco's Preventive System. The training was led by Fr Carlos Balezi, Economer of the AFC-EST Delegation, who recalled the three fundamental pillars to educate young people: reason, religion, and loving-kindness. Fr Balezi then reiterated the importance of the role played by educators today, emphasizing that their commitment is capable of making young people "good Christians and upright citizens." The session ended in an atmosphere of complete satisfaction on the part of the participants, who strongly requested that other events of this type be organized to better understand Don Bosco's pedagogy in all its aspects.
