Sanlúcar la Mayor, Spain - October 2021 - On 20-21 October, the meeting of the Rectors of the presences run by lay people of the Salesian Province "Spain-Mary Help of Christians" (SMX) was held in the Salesian house of Sanlúcar la Mayor. Coordinated by Councilor Fernando Báñez, the event focused on the pastoral plan, sharing experiences and creating a sense of belonging. The formative phase of the meeting began with the conference by Fr Rosendo Alabau sdb on the theme "The Pedagogy of Love". An in-depth study on "Direction of the Institutes in the Experience of Don Bosco", was presented by Fr Miguel Canino sdb, the Provincial Coordinator of schools. During the second day, Fr Marcelo Farfán, the Extraordinary Visitor to the SMX Province, also participated in the meeting online. The meet also provided the opportunity to get to know the pastoral program of the presences managed by lay people together with the evaluation of Fr Ángel Asurmendi sdb, the Provincial of SMX. The provincial document "Presences managed by the Laity in the Mary Help of Christians Province" was also presented on the occasion.
