Guatemala - Fr Coelho's visits Salesian Pre-Novitiate in Central America
Guatemala City - September 2021 - On 21 September the Salesian Pre-novitiate of Central America was visited by Fr Ivo Coelho, General Councilor for Formation, accompanied by Fr Francisco Santos, of the same Department. On the occasion, a group meeting was held dto share vocational experiences along with a formative study consisting of "Learning through experience: The meaning of the Salesian vocation" (Const. 98). Fr Coelho said that "it’s not just about gaining experience, but learning through experience. What is this learning through experience? It is the ability to look at what we have heard and to hear what the Spirit tells us through it. It doesn't matter if an experience is 'good' or 'bad'; what matters is looking at it and listening to what the Spirit says through it."
