Kosovo – Missions General Councilor visits Salesian presences
Kosovo - September 2021 - On 22 and 23 September Fr Alfred Maravilla, General Councilor for the Missions, visited the Salesian presences in Kosovo – in the capital Pristina, and Gjilan, 43 kilometers south-east of the capital. These two Salesian educational centers are highly sought after, as proved by the long waiting list for enrollment; the oratory of Gjilan, instead, hosts hundreds of young people, the vast majority of whom are from other religions. Consequently, these centers are environments that favor interreligious dialogue.
