Peru - Interamerica Regional Councilor inaugurates a new computer room for teenagers and young people
Cusco, Peru - September 2021 - On 12 September Fr Hugo Orozco, Councilor for the Interamerica Region, Fr Ricardo Lach, Director of the Salesian Agro-Industrial College "Monte Salvado", and his Vicar, Fr Fredy Valdivia, inaugurated the new computer room called "Miguel Magone". The classroom is equipped with 30 computers that will benefit the young people at risk residing at the Salesian shelter. The target is to improve their skills and allow them to be build their future and that of their families. The new computer room was made possible thanks to the contribution of the Opera Don Bosco Foundation Onlus Milan (Italy) and the Opera Don Bosco nel Mondo Foundation Lugano (Switzerland).
