India - Salesian priest receives certificate for his commitment to biodiversity
Panjim, India - August 2021 - Fr George Quadros, a Salesian priest, received an award for his contributions in the field of biodiversity. This is a recognition conferred by the "Goa State Biodiversity Board", an autonomous body of the Goa government. In particular, Fr Quadros was recognized for his commitment to agrobiodiversity, sustainable agricultural practice and the management of fallow land. Also, Fr Quadros recently broke his own personal record in the field of agriculture, planting paddy seedlings covering over 115,000 square meters in just twelve hours.
