Cabezo de Torres, Spain - May 2021 - On the afternoon of 29 May, Fr Ángel Asurmendi, Provincial of the "Mary Help of Christians" Province (SMX), presided over the commemoration ceremony for 65 years of Salesian presence in Cabezo de Torres. The Provincial went to the locality together with the Salesian Fr Fernando Bañez, Councilor for lay management works, to accompany the educational community. The day served to pay homage to the different generations of young people who since 1956 have been educated in the Salesian classrooms and courtyards through various academic and animation activities, as well as thanking everyone for the warm welcome during this time, the shared life and trust placed in the educational action.
