South Africa - SYM youth reflect on how to serve the Church
Ennerdale, South Africa - April 2021 - The Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) of Johannesburg met on April 25 in the parish of All Saints in Ennerdale to reflect on Good Shepherd Sunday and the different ways in which young people can serve the local Church, especially through the various ministries, such as catechists, altar servers, readers, or in the groups "soldiers of Jesus", "children of Mary". The particular vocations of the Salesian Cooperators, the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians were then carefully presented, also through the testimonies of a Salesian Brother, a Sister and a Salesian Cooperator. Finally, there was Sunday Mass, presided over by Fr Lingoane Tlaile, Delegate for Youth Ministry of the South Africa Vice Province (AFM).
