India - “DB ARK” helps one hundred families in the slums
New Delhi, India - April 2021 - The "Don Bosco Animation and Research Kendra" (DB ARK) of New Delhi, committed to supporting slum dwellers, has identified a hundred families for its Holistic Education Learning Project (HELP). Families come to the center to enjoy a meal, but the DB ARK program includes holistic education to give them a better life. The mothers of these families are mostly victims of child marriages and the Salesian center is working to create a greater awareness of their fundamental rights among these people, to stop child marriages, as well as other social plagues, such as illiteracy, unemployment and hunger.
