São Vicente, Cape Verde - April 2021 - The Salesian School of Arts and Crafts of São Vicente, in collaboration with the Salesian Province of Portugal (POR), has organized a training plan for young animators. Accompanying animators and strengthening their mission through its vital core - service, hope and charity - are constant challenges for all education and formation. With this objective, a training plan for animators was created, aimed at all young people who want to strengthen their vocation and commitment. About 18 young people took part in the first meeting, held on 10 April, led by Salesian Brother Fabrício Lima who spoke on "the youth worker and his spirituality". Fr Luís Peralta, Director of the Salesian presence, emphasized: “We want to strengthen this Christian identity in the educational and evangelizing mission with the young.”
