Great Britain - Everton Football Club donates laptops to "Savio Salesian College"
Bootle, Great Britain - March 31, 2021 - Bootle's “Savio Salesian College” recently received a further donation of laptops for its students from “Everton in the Community”, the official charity of the Everton Football Club, the English Premier League team. At a time when it was necessary to rely on distance learning due to the pandemic, societal inequalities emerged, such as the “digital poverty” of many families who do not have computers and Internet connections. “Everton in the Community” worked with a generous technology provider to address this problem in 60 schools. The Salesian Province of Great Britain (GBR) has also helped the students of the Salesian schools to equip themselves for distance learning.
