India - Seminar for emancipation of young people in dioceses of Raigarh-Ambikapur and Jashpur
New Delhi, India - March 2021 - On March 20 and 21 at the “Vianney Seva Kendra” in Kunkuri, Jashpur, a seminar on youth leadership and emancipation was held for young animators of the dioceses of Raigarh-Ambikapur and Jashpur. The event, led by Fr Mukti Minj, diocesan youth coordinator, was attended by about 180 young people with sessions and workshops focused on the themes: direction and vision for young people, emancipation and development, professional orientation. Fr Lievens Aind, SDB, Dean of the “Don Bosco School”, Jumaikela, spoke on the theme “Youth strength: a source of inspiration”, inviting young people to always remain motivated, with positive energy, to be successful. Fr Aind presented the Valdocco Oratory as a welcoming house, a parish that evangelizes, a school that leads to life and a courtyard where one can meet in joy. Furthermore, he explained the three pillars of the Salesian Preventive System: reason, religion and loving-kindness.
