Warsaw, Poland - March 2021 - Since the beginning of Lent, the Salesian Mission Office of Warsaw, together with Sister Maria Domalewska, FMA, and Fr Paweł Libor, SDB, have conducted the initiative "If you want, you can help me"; its aim, to help the sick and malnourished people of Luanda. Sister Domalewska, who has been working in Angola for 10 years and knows the situations of many people in need, describes their stories and sends information about their needs. Albertina is albino and has cancer, Maria has been operated on, Mauro asks for food, Vasco has had an accident and needs a wheelchair ... These are just some of the stories of people who wanted to share their life and their suffering. The Salesian Mission Office of Warsaw and the FMA want to provide them with the food and care they need. The food packages that will be prepared include: chicken, sausages, beans, rice, corn flour, sugar, milk, oil, as well as soap and disinfectant. The sick will have medicines and necessary equipment, and their medical treatment will be paid for.
