São Paulo, Brazil - February 2021 - On 19 February, in the parish of "St John Bosco" in the Alto da Lapa district of São Paulo, the inauguration ceremony of Fr Paulo Manoel de Souza Profilo as the new Director of the Salesian community "St Thomas Aquinas" took place. The community hosts the Curatorium of Theology of the Conference of Salesian Provinces of Brazil (CISBRASIL). The Eucharistic celebration was presided by Fr Justo Ernesto Piccinini, Superior of the Salesian Province of São Paulo (BSP), and concelebrated by Fr Gabriel Romero, Councilor for the South Cone America Region. This year the Salesian community is made up of 23 students of theology and 7 formators. It also animates a parish, a youth center, and the campus of the Salesian University Center of São Paulo which houses the Faculty of Theology.
