Myanmar - Formation course for 5 laypersons to promote Salesian work on social networks
Kalay, Myanmar - November 2020 - Fr Saw Charles Thi Han Lwin, Provincial of the Salesian Vice Province of Myanmar (MYM), and the MYM Social Communication Commission, organized a long-term formation course for lay members at "Don Bosco Kalay" of the “Don Bosco Media Team”. Five young people were carefully selected from the various Salesian communities and, beginning 1 August 2020, they started the annual course with the aim of being trained to promote Salesian activities and evangelize other young people through social networks. During this period, they are learning and deepening the Salesian System of Social Communication, Salesianity, journalism, media ethics, music, knowledge of English, audiovisual production, photography, audio recordings and music production.
