Brazil - "Don Bosco Bom Retiro" distributes food and books
São Paulo, Brazil - May 2020 – In May, the “Dom Bosco Bom Retiro” Institute of São Paulo, inspired by an action by the Prefecture of Montevideo, Uruguay, delivered over 100 food kits to families served by the project, each enriched with a book. The campaign's objective, in addition to providing the necessary food, is to increase knowledge and culture through reading, help fight boredom and anxiety, and stimulate the mind during the period of social isolation. The food was donated by "Mesa Brasil" and by anonymous donors; the books from "Porto Seguro", "SESC" and other benefactors.
