Papua New Guinea – Baptisms and Confirmations on the feast of Mary Help of Christians
Boroko, Papua New Guinea – May 24th, 2016 – 32 students of Don Bosco Technical School, Gabutu, received the Sacraments of Christian Initiation on the occasion of the Feast of Mary Help of Christians in the Sanctuary dedicated to Her in Boroko. The ceremony was presided over by Msgr. Rochus Joseph Tatamai, MSC, Bishop of Berina, and was concelebrated by the Salesian confrères Fr. Sonny Fagardo, Fr. Angel Sánchez and Fr. Ambrose Pereira. Over 1100 persons, comprising students, staff, parents and friends, participated in the ceremony. In the afternoon another Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Msgr. John Ribat, Archbishop of Port Moresby.
