Venezuela. Duaca Youth Center supports Venezuelans returning to the Country
Duaca, Venezuela May. 2020 The Salesians of Venezuela, together with the animation team of the Youth Center “Santo Domingo Savio” of Duaca, and the Mayor of the municipality of Crespo, are working in synergy to provide assistance to Venezuelans who repatriate from various South American countries due to the pandemic. Thanks to the supply of light bulbs by the Mayor and the cleaning of certain areas, with the collaboration of a team of lay people, it was possible to create a welcoming place for these people. The Salesians participate, as religious, in bearing witness and offering the commitment of the Church for justice and peace, remaining independent of any ideology and political party, rejecting anything that favors misery, injustice and violence and cooperating with those who strive to build a more dignified society for man.
