Panama - "Damas Salesianas" association sows hope in pandemic
Panama City, Panama - April 2020 - Since the beginning of April, the leaders of the "Damas Salesianas" association, the 16th group of the Salesian Family, concerned about the vulnerable situation due to the global Covid-19 emergency, has launched the Sembradoras de Esperanza campaign, "Seeders of Hope". It consists of raising funds and preparing bags of food and supplies for families in serious economic difficulties. Thanks also to the contribution of various benefactors, 250 food packages have been prepared and distributed, which will allow about 1,000 people to have a balanced diet for at least a month.
