South Korea - Seoul's “Don Bosco Youth Center” receives “POSCO TJ Park Award”
Seoul, South Korea - April 2020 - Since its founding 55 years ago, the Seoul Don Bosco Youth Center (DBYC) has educated over 3,000 young people and received numerous awards and recognitions from government institutions and civil authorities. On April 8, the POSCO Foundation (Pohang Steel Company, founded in 1968), among the world leaders in the steel industry, awarded the "POSCO TJ Park Prize" to the "DBYC" in a ceremony that was restricted due to the pandemic . Since 2007, the POSCO Foundation has been awarding the prize every year to an individual or organization that has made an exceptional contribution to science, education, social services and technology.
