D.R. Congo - Meeting of Provincial Council for Covid-19 prevention measures
Lubumbashi, D.R. Congo - April 2020 - On April 7, the Provincial Council of Central Africa (AFC) met to take stock of the situation in the Covid-19 pandemic. Board members were able to analyze the evolution and spread of coronavirus and intensified the debate on preventive measures, in particular on actions and defenses to be put into practice in its educatonal communities, centers and houses. All Salesian houses were asked to create a workstation to wash one's hands thoroughly, measure body temperature, wear masks. At the end of the meeting, the members of the Provincial Council entrusted the world, the Church and the Salesian Congregation into the hands of Mary Help of Christians, pleading for the end of this pandemic.
