(ANS - Rome) - With a beautiful and passionate letter, Pope Francis addressed young people all over the world and gave them the message for the World Youth Day (WYD) of 2018, which represents another step in preparations for World Youth Day, taking place in Panama in 2019. The Pope reminds young people that Mary will be the companion of this wonderful journey.

(ANS - City of Panama) - At the World Youth Day (WYD) in Krakow 2016, after announcing that the next WYD would be in Panama in 2019, Pope Francis said, "I do not know if I will be in Panama but I can assure you one thing, Peter (the Pope) will be in Panama." Yesterday, Sunday 14 May, during the Eucharist presided over by Archbishop José Domingo Ulloa of Panama City, the official logo of the Panama WYD (22-27 January 2019) was launched and the Patrons of the event announced.

(ANS - Rome) - Develop a relationship of empathy with young people; work in the community and encourage the involvement of young people in pastoral activity; initiate broad processes; and in all this, have courage: these are the four constituent elements of "journeying with young people" that Fr Fabio Attard, Councillor General for Youth Ministry, offered the International Youth Forum: "From Krakow to Panama - the Synod on the way with young people "(Rome, 5-9 April), organized by the Pontifical Congregation for the Laity and Family Life and the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops.

Vatican City - 9 April 2017 - Pope Francis presided in St. Peter's Square over the solemn liturgical celebration of Palm Sunday and the Passion of the Lord. The youth of Krakow (Poland) - the city that hosted World Youth Day (WYD) 2016 - handed over the Cross, the symbol of this event, to the young people of Panama, which will host WYD 2019.

My heart is still filled with joy over the friendliness of the young, their genuine joy, and their extraordinary capacity to adapt themselves in any situation – whether pleasant or unpleasant – all with a smile on their lips.

Cracow, Poland – July 2016 – Young Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians took part in the event of the Vocational Fair (July 26-29), mainly addressed to the youth of Western countries, where we witness a considerable decrease of vocations to the priesthood and to consecrated life. The Fair was organised at the football stadium of Cracow, located by the park of Błonia, where some central events of WYD were celebrated. White tents of various organisations and Catholic movements were placed inside the area, and especially in the afternoon of July 29 there was a massive flow of young pilgrims.
