Brasilia, Brazil - March 2020 - At the auditorium of the "UNICEUB" university center in Brasilia, the Certification ceremony of the Social District Federal District 2020 took place on 3 March. During the event, the results of the work of the registered institutions were presented, a project developed in collaboration with the “Abaçaí” Institute and the Salesian Brazil Network (RSB). The executive directors of the RSB, Sister Silvia Aparecida da Silva and Fr Waldomiro Bronakowisk, who attended the event, reiterated the role of the network in promoting the integral development of the new generations and overcoming the various forms of poverty and exclusion. Highlighting the scope of the 2019 Social Seal, 135 organizations were certified, 390 projects completed and 1,260 social impacts.
