Umswai, India - February 2020 - The three-day sports festival of the Don Bosco Umswai secondary school ended on 29 February. The main guest of the final ceremony was Mr. Katharson Engti, assistant inspector of the East and West schools of the Karbi Anglong district, Assam State, who presented the medals to the winners of the various sports disciplines. Thanking the school authorities for having invited him, Mr. Katharson urged students to persevere in their efforts to achieve their goals and praised the school for improving overall performance, for the second edition of the school newspaper and also for the school library, the best in Karbi Anglong. In addition to aerobics competitions and exercises, students performed Tiwa and Karbi cultural dances.
