Sucre, Bolivia - February 2020 - The Delegate for Youth Ministry of the Salesian Province of Bolivia, Fr Iván Mamani, representing the Salesians, spoke at the XXXIV National Meeting of Vocational Youth Ministry in Bolivia. The event was attended by about 150 young people from 18 ecclesial jurisdictions in the country, with the aim of strengthening their synodal, missionary and prophetic awareness, on the theme: "We young people are sacred land, the now of God." On this occasion, Fr Mamani presented the characteristics of Salesian Youth Spirituality and the harmony between the objectives of the Church and Salesian Youth Ministry, underlined the presence of groups of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) in six jurisdictions and encouraged young people to continue training to be good animators and witnesses of Christ among their peers.
