Johannesburg, South Africa - December 2019 - On 7 December, at the headquarters of the Vice Province of Southern Africa (AFM), the retreat of the young people of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) took place. Sister Ana Mercedes, FMA, guided the young people through various reflections on the importance of preparing spiritually for the birth of Christ and illustrated the meanings of some symbols of Advent, such as the Crown and the Tree of Jesse.
